Tour de Barnstable

A “Grand Bike Do” in the tradition of European "Gran Fondo's," this is a shorter distance, but as the name implies, will be great fun for all participants.
This is a scenic 38-mile ride through all the villages, and along the most beautiful conservation lands of the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The start and end of the ride is at Aselton Park, the corner of South Street and Ocean Avenue in Hyannis, MA. The route is a scenic tour highlighting the villages of Barnstable on historic, quiet secondary roadways. This Non-profit event supports some great local charities. Now more than ever these local nonprofits need our support. Barnstable Land Trust provides beautiful open spaces for the community, DEVO Cycling provides riding resources to the community and kids while organizing inclusive cycling events. Supporting this event, directly supports these great charities. If you are a hero, the event does offer a fundraising component that isn't mandatory, but welcomed.
40 miles for the 40th Anniversary
An additional 2-mile loop will be available for riders who choose a 40-mile ride in honor of Barnstable Land Trust’s 40th Anniversary year.

There is a fundraising component to the event, and although not a requisite, it is appreciated. The goal is to have every participant raise funds which will benefit the Barnstable Land Trust. When you receive your confirmation e-mail the details will be included.

Event Beneficiaries
Barnstable Land Trust (BLT) is the only private nonprofit organization dedicated solely to preserving the open spaces and natural resources within the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod. BLT is supported by generous contributions from the community and from our members. BLT is currently the steward of 1,100 acres of land in Barnstable’s seven villages.
DEVO Cycling is a program that offers mentorship and coaching to juniors interested in the sport of cycling. Our goal is to promote a lifestyle of fitness and exercise to build good values and a lifetime of sport.
